All the packages featured on this page have departures in the next 30 days. A minimum of 1 week’s notice is required to make a booking. For example, if you’re planning to travel next Saturday, you would need to make your booking by the Saturday before.

On all last-minute trips, you need to pay the full package price when you book.

There are two main seasons for visiting Iceland: summer and winter. Each time of year offers a different kind of experience.

The most popular summer months to visit Iceland are June to August, when the weather is at its warmest and the days are longer. Visit at this time of year and you could see the marvelous midnight sun, lush moss-lined valleys, and pretty flower-filled meadows.

Winter in Iceland runs from October to March. Around this time, you can seek out the Northern Lights, spot snow-dusted mountaintops, and gaze at blue-white glaciers.

You can also have a fantastic experience in Iceland during the spring and autumn shoulder seasons. These are both quieter times of year, when Iceland’s major attractions are all still easily accessible.

The thing about Iceland is that it’s great for both short and long trips. On a 4-day tour, you could explore Reykjavík, the Golden Circle, and waterfalls on the south coast.

Spend 5 days to a week in Iceland and you can pack a lot more in. For instance, go further afield to West Iceland and the Snæfellsnes peninsula. You could even circle the entire Ring Road in a week.

With a longer stay of 10 days to 2 weeks, you can get to know each region more intimately and travel at a slower pace. In summer, it’s also possible to access further-flung parts of the country like the Westfjords and the central highlands.

There’s so much to see in Iceland that it can be tricky to know where to start.

A classic is to follow the Golden Circle route, which includes the historic Þingvellir National Park, active Strokkur geyser, and breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall.

Another popular region is the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Here you’ll find iconic landmarks, such as Kirkjufell mountain (as featured in Game of Thrones) and rock arch at Arnarstapi. The peninsula is also home to its very own glacier, Snæfellsjökull.

If you feel like heading off the beaten track, you could visit the remote Westfjords or the lesser-explored regions of North Iceland and East Iceland.
