Day 1 - Welcome to Iceland!

Transfer from Keflavík Airport to Reykjavík with the Flybus (included). Depending on your arrival time you have the possibility to add a transfer “Arrival via the Blue Lagoon” and start your Iceland holiday with a relaxing visit to this popular geothermal spa.

Day 2 - The Golden Circle

The Golden Circle needs little introduction: it is home to some of the most stunning and famous sights in Iceland. You will see the hot spring Strokkur shoot a column of water up to 30 meters (98 feet) into the air every 4-8 minutes. It is a thrilling experience that never gets old. You will stop to admire the magnificent Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall, created where the river Hvítá tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 meters (105 feet) deep. This tour also includes the historical and geological wonder, Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimeters per year.

Additionally you will visit the idyllic Friðheimar greenhouse cultivation center. Here the group will learn about the magic behind growing delicious, pesticide-free tomatoes and cucumbers with the aid of the geothermal heat that Iceland has in abundance.

In the evening

Spend the night on a magical Northern Lights hunt! Your guide will take you away from the urban glow of Reykjavík into the Icelandic countryside.
The extra darkness boosts your chances of spotting this amazing natural wonder. So if the skies are clear, you might just be lucky enough to see these colorful ribbons dance above you.

Good to know: The Northern Lights (also called the Aurora Borealis) are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed, even with clear skies. The tour may be canceled if weather conditions are unfavorable, but you’ll receive a full refund.

Day 3 - The South Shore Adventure

The South Shore Adventure Tour is ideal for nature lovers. You will have an opportunity to stand behind the plummeting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, walk up to the Skógafoss waterfall, and gaze at the majestic rock formations.

We will travel along the South Coast of Iceland as far as Vík í Mýrdal, a charming small village surrounded by beautiful high bird cliffs. The highlights of the day are stunning views of glaciers, black lava sand coastlines, and impressive rock formations

Day 4 - Free day in Reykjavík or optional day tour

Use this day to explore the capital of Iceland in more depth. It has a number of interesting sights and museums, good shopping opportunities, and delicious restaurants and cafés to try the local cuisine. The city also has many heated public pools and spas where you could go relax.

If you haven’t visited the Blue Lagoon yet, today will be the perfect day.
In the afternoon, go relax in the warm, geothermal waters of one of Iceland’s most popular sights.
The Blue Lagoon is a unique sight where guests enjoy relaxing in an outdoor, geothermal pool surrounded by magical black lava fields. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients, mineral salts, silica and blue-green algae, help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life. Bathing in this surreal environment is a unique experience no one should miss.

Bus transfer from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon takes around 40 minutes. Please note that this is a non-guided excursion.

Lava Tunnel Tour

During this tour you will have opportunity to walk in a colorful tunnel in which molten lava used to flow as well as admire the colorful world beneath the surface. This particular lava tunnel is one of the biggest in Iceland. In places it’s even 30 meters wide and 10 meters high!

Into the Glacier

A specially modified glacier vehicle will drive you up the second largest glacier in Iceland and take you all the way into the exciting world of man-made ice tunnels. Your guide will introduce you to the secrets of glaciers while you enjoy your time in the mystical blue-colored tunnels. On the way to the excursion, you will also stop by  the geothermal area of Deildatunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, and enchanting waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.

It is said that you can experience Iceland in one day in the Snæfellsnes peninsula. This is because in this small region you can find it all, rugged mountains, waterfalls and black beaches with the magnificent Snæfellsjökull glacier rising above them. Stroll on top of the cliffs of Arnarstapi and pebbled beach of Djúpalónssandur, and marvel at the world-famous Kirkjufell mountain.

Day 5 - Departure

Transfer to Keflavík Airport with the Flybus for your return flight (included).

Depending on your departure time, you might be able to fit in a stop at the Blue Lagoon on your way to the airport. That way, you’ll be relaxed and rejuvenated before your flight.  If you add this stop, you’ll be picked up at your hotel and dropped off at the Blue Lagoon, where there are luggage storage facilities for a fee.

Good to know: Most airlines require you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure, so bear this in mind when booking. The drive to the airport takes around 20 minutes. Pre-booking is required for the Blue Lagoon stop.
