Jokulsargljufur National Park

Jökuslárgljúfur, or Glacial River Canyon, is 25 km long, 500 meters wide and about 100-120 meters deep making it one of Iceland’s largest and most impressive canyons. The canyon is in the northern part of Vatnajökull National Park with world-class, natural wonders that include Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall, and Ásbyrgi Canyon.
