On this exciting trip, you’ll sail 15–20 minutes from Reykjavík’s Old Harbor into the North Atlantic to chase the shimmering Aurora Borealis. Here, you’ll be blanketed in darkness – perfect for spotting the Northern Lights rippling across the sky.
You’ll be given warm overalls and the crew will take photos as you sail around, so you can focus on the spectacular views. Plus, your guide will explain the science behind the Aurora and share myths and stories about this breathtaking phenomenon.
On board, there’s also a café-bar and toilet facilities for your comfort.
The Northern Lights are a natural event and sightings cannot be guaranteed. If you’re not lucky enough to see the Northern Lights the first time, you’ll get a free second excursion.
