Hvammstangi

Located in the northwestern part of Iceland, on Vatnsnes penisula, Hvammstangi is the largest community in West Húnaþing with around 600 inhabitants. Since 1846 Hvammstangi has been an important trading center and in the town you will find the largest textile factory in Iceland. In Hvammstangi you will find the famous Icelandic Seal Center.
