Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon can be found the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. This breathtaking lagoon is one of Iceland’s most popular tourist attractions and a definite, “Don’t miss!” stop on your journey. In past years the Glacier Lagoon has served as a movie setting for the James Bond films, A View to a Kill and Die Another Day, as well as for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Batman Begins.

The lagoon gradually grows larger each year; as the glacier melts, huge chunks of ice fall in, adding to its water mass.
