The small fishing village of Arnarstapi sits between Hellnar and Breiðavík in the southern Snaefellsnes Peninsula.

Nature lovers’ alert: You are certain to be in awe of Arnarstapi, the harbor there and by the columnar basalt, caves and gorges. Be sure to find time to take a walk on the hiking trail between Arnarstapi and Hellnar, right through the lava field, Hellnahraun. The panoramic views along the coastline include dramatic vistas of the cliff at Gatklettur.
