Whale watching from Reykjavík

Hop aboard a boat at Reyjavík’s old harbor, a stone’s throw from the city center. You’ll sail out into the Faxaflói bay in a safe and comfortable boat specially equipped for spotting wildlife!

You’ll have the chance to see all kinds of marine creatures, including the famous minke whale and humpback whale, as well as harbor porpoises and white-beaked dolphins. Seabirds are also prominent in this area.

On board, you’ll find indoor seating, outdoor viewing decks, and a café. There’s also an educational whale exhibit, making this a great activity for families. Guidance is available in English all year round.
